Fifty girls from Tone Division Girlguiding enjoyed an activity day at Huish Woods in May. The sun shone for us and the girls enjoyed climbing and caving and cooking on a campfire. They all had a go at pitching and striking the old patrol tent and in quieter moments made friendship bracelets and nature masks to take home. We finished with a treasure hunt with a royal theme as this was the month of the Coronation.
A big THANK YOU to the adult volunteer leaders who made this happen for the girls and gave them a great day out.
We are looking for more adult volunteers to help with Rainbows , Brownies and Guides across Tone Division which covers Wellington, Bishops Lydeard and Cotford St Luke as well as Wiveliscombe and we would welcome volunteers who could help with administrative tasks as well as helping directly with the girls.
