Wiveliscombe based Cinema Obscura film society was first established in 2000. Independent in thinking and always seeking to screen the best and possibly challenging films that World Cinema currently offers. We are currently looking to show our films at the Wiveliscombe Town Hall which is currently being brought back to life in Wiveliscombe.

Come along from 7pm and enjoy a hot drink, chat with members about our programme of films and enjoy watching the film which normally commences at 7:30pm. If there is time we will also show a short film prior to the main film sourced from local film makers courtesy of Somerset Film. Do contact us if you have a short film you would like our audience to view.

We are also looking for new committee members so please contact Eddie Gaines on 07817190320

if you are interested in helping to run one of the best film societies in the South West

Cinema Obscura reserves the right to change the listed film programme if films are unavailable to screen
