About

THE CONSOLIDATED CHARITIES OF WIVELISCOMBE

The Consolidated Charities exist to benefit the people of  Wiveliscombe by providing grants of money to supplement (not replace) public services; together the Charities focus mainly on these areas:

  1. - Helping people who are elderly, have a disability, are ill, or in financial difficulty
  2. - Assisting young people to access aspects of education and learning, and celebrating their achievements
  3. - Supporting local groups and services for the general benefit of all residents.

If you need assistance, or a person you know needs assistance, you are welcome to apply for a grant by following the simple guidance given in our Individual Funding Request document - to find it, click on Media above and then scroll to the bottom of your screen and click on the file.  You can apply at any time.  You will be more likely to be successful if you meet our rules (established when the Charities were founded many years ago) and if we have funds available.

For help applying, or with any other questions, you are welcome to contact the Secretary, Helena Trump, on 01984 624409 or by e-mail at helena@helenatrump.co.uk.

If you represent a group, you can also apply for a grant at any time if your need is urgent.  We would prefer to receive applications in the autumn so that needs can be reviewed in totality at our November trustee meeting.  To apply, follow the guidance given in our Group Funding Request document - to find it, click on Media above, scroll to the bottom of your screen and click on the file.

Our document library on this website contains the following:

  1. - Grant Application form/guide for individual people
  2. - Grant Application form/guide for groups
  3. - An outline history of the Wiveliscombe Consolidated Charities and how they work.
